Sue Lobo is a wonderful poet; her style is prose based and lovely to read. I enjoyed this book as a woman, relating to the subject matter and feelings the author relays in each verse. Recommended.

Sue Lobo is a talented writer and poet whom has documented many of her life experiences in books. She is the author of two books of her experiences in Africa, a poetry book "Africa My Africa" which is poetry reflecting African life in the terrible apartheid era in South Africa & "Lollipops of Dust”, her autobiography, of a child´s view of living in colonial Africa, in the Kalahari desert, with all the magic of what the old Africa had to offer. She has also participated in eight poetry anthologies with other very talented poets & has won a couple poetry competitions in Gibraltar & Spain.
She joined the Creative Talents Unleashed Publishing Group in early 2015 releasing The Last Dance, a collection of poems about death, which is about life, the eternal circle, never to be broken. Life and death are the two equalizing factors that unite us as living beings, regardless of whatever else happens to us on our journey upon earth. “I was born, I died, I was born again, the circle continues.” Sue again, was inspired to release a book near and dear to her heart, and in October 2015 released “Wild Whisperings” a collection of animal themed poems where she is donating one hundred percent of the proceeds from “Wild Whisperings” to the “Save the Rhino International Fund.” In 2016 Mrs. Lobo released “I Am Woman” poetry about women, about who they have been, who they are and who they always will be. I am the Maid, I am the Mother, I am the Crone, I am all. “This collection of poetry called “I Am Woman” is a book of poetry about women of all ages, from all walks of life and from all over the world. As you can clearly see, Sue Lobo has a love for writing.
5 out of 5 stars - Visual and Poetic Art
I purchased The Last Dance last year and have been meaning to get back to review it. It is quite simply a beautiful book both visually and poetically. Sue packs not only each poem but each line of her poetry full of meaning that resonates with the reader and leaves the reader feeling connected.
